LS-TEN lets the good times roll at Hunslet Moor Park

This summer LS-TEN brought their expert skateboarding coaching to Hunslet Moor Park, welcoming more than sixty young people to a weekly skateboard club that quickly became a highlight of the summer holidays.

For many who joined in the fun, it was their first chance to try wheeled sports. LS-TEN’s coaches created a safe, positive space for beginners where they could build confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy being active outdoors. Week after week they returned, growing braver on their boards and making new friends along the way.

The club offered an energising alternative to summer holiday boredom, giving young people a creative outlet and a welcoming community to be a part of. What began as a simple introduction to skateboarding soon grew into a hobby that supports self-esteem, independence, and long-term wellbeing.
