Halton in Bloom Plant Trees to Inspire Community

Halton in Bloom have planted six partially-grown trees in Grove Road Park, inspiring the community to get involved with conservation projects. These trees were funded by a grant from Love Leeds Parks. The planting of these trees inspired local people to plant a further 2,000 saplings across Halton.

Halton in Bloom report that tree planting enabled volunteers to connect with the community and helped them through lockdown.

75 people in total took part in the sessions with one attendee saying “we were amazed at the response, and it was great to see families and friends contributing to our environment.”
