Love Leeds Parks Tabloid Published

February 2020

We have published a Love Leeds Parks tabloid newspaper.

The newspaper is a fresh and thought-provoking way to increase awareness about the benefits of public green space in Leeds and generate support for our work.

It’s packed with news about which fantastic projects received funding in our recent grants round; what Leeds business leaders said when they were asked to identify the advantages of urban parks; and who supported us over the past busy year.

It also contains a colourful map plotting all major and community parks in Leeds, as well as lots of interesting facts and stats about public green space across the city.

Do you know which Leeds park gets an amazing 9 million visits every year? Hint: it contains a well-known regional visitor attraction, and an iconic fountain named after a nineteenth century benefactor.

The newspaper will be available in paper format at busy park sites in the coming weeks, as well as in digital format.
